App Development

This year in computer science I was given the oppotuinty to program an app. Working with my good friend Levie W., we programed the Westwood App. Out of all of the apps created, our app was in the final round of the shark tank. Although we did not win, we were very proud to say we made it as far as we did. I had the privilage to be the app manager of the Westwood App. My team and I worked so extremely hard to make the app to the best of our abilities. I worked on programing the schedules and calendars, I had to learn how to link every page to the correct page. I also was in charge of pictues, uploading pictues not only from Bocce Ball but also from Field Day, and the recent events going on around Westwood. Trello has become my new best friend, everyday my team goes on Trello and posted what we planned to accomplish or what we had already accomplished. This website defiantly helped me stay in touch with my team and make sure everyone was doing thier part in the app. I had so much fun programing apps this year and I hope to have opportunity to do it next year.

I also had the privilege of working on a new app called "Enough". This app focused on people who are in Domestic Violence situations and want to know more about domestic violence. It helps to educate others on this horrible thing and also will encourage others to stand up and say "enough is enough". I had the privilage of working on our app trailer and it now has up to 500+ views on youtube. You can find the video below.

This school year I along with other app mangagers were allowed the opportunity to go to Atlanta and present to the U.S. department of education in a shark tank. One of our apps, Drone Zone, won the shark tank. This was a great learning experience for our whole team.
